New super pairing of veteran electronic producer Miguel López Mora and Placebo’s Stefan Olsdal unveil a new track ‘Toi Et Moi’, taken from their orchestral inspired electronic debut album ‘Inside’ due this October. Follow this link to the album!
Of the track, Stefan comments: “Toi et Moi’ is one the first tracks we created together, so it is very special to us. It speaks about the storm and the calm (both at the same time), and the conflict between two people in love, with the resulting beauty that comes from it. The break in the middle of the song gives way to Stefan’s soft and exposed keyboard, and it feels like stopping time.”
Miguel details the track: ‘Toi et moi’ is one the first songs we created together, so it is very special to us, we composed and recorded the track in our studios..

Already acclaimed in their own right with their own projects, the album was the result of a burgeoning friendship within the fringe music scene in Madrid, revealing the multi-facetted duo in perfect union and brought about the birth of Digital 21 + Stefan Olsdal
With strings recorded in the legendary RAK studios in London, the tracks developed first as instrumentals, then evolving into songs with the addition of female vocalists, and the album features the singers Cuushe (Japan), Margrét Rán from Vök (Iceland), Helen Feng from Nova Heart (China) and Julienne from Saschienne (France / Germany).
After a couple of singles, the debut album, ‘Inside’, is now ready for release on limited edition, white-coloured vinyl, CD and digitally, via Kobalt Music Recordings in October 2017.
