In our next artist spotlight, we chat to one of the most innovative artists in the game today, T Dash!

TD] “I’m currently working on one of the most diverse albums ever… I’m often told it can’t be done but I would rather make history. The album would have a few different genres that appeal to a few different crowds. It will be titled ‘Only Of My Kind'”
S] Talk to us about the development of the music?
TD] “I started doing a bunch of gangsta rap. I pretty much was born with a mic. I pretty much been rapping since I was able to talk. As I grew older I found myself experiencing new and different things in life. I got on my first EDM record when I was taken on the dance floor at a club I worked in as a promoter by a young lady that pretty much brought me out of my shell (because she was good looking) after dancing to it for the first time. I noticed how much fun the fans of EDM had and decided I have to make some records of this genre.”
S] What sort of things inspire you guys outside of music – think films and book for example?
TD] “The entire music game inspires me. My bible and family keeps me going and movies like the Temptations, Notorious, The Facebook Movie, and a few other things inspired me and kept me motivated.”
S] What’s been the highlight of your career thus far?
TD] “I had the opportunity to work with a lot of major artists, do some huge shows, top charts and get nominated for awards, but nothing makes me happier than hearing fans tell me how my music made them feel better or change a negative Idea to a positive…. I live for making the world a better place.”
S] What track that you guys are working on right now, or have released do you feel perfectly defines what you are all about?
TD] “The whole album describes different sides of T-Dash but one of my favorite songs is titled “Freedom” It’s a song that promotes world peace… If you haven’t heard it. Check it out it’s very positive.”
S] What are your main plans for the rest of this year?
TD] “I plan to shoot a few videos, finish the album, tour and introduce the world to more good music! I’m excited and can’t wait to get the ball rolling!”
