S] What, or who are your great musical inspirations?

D] “My musical inspirations comes from within. Music is in the soul.”

S] What about personally, what kinds of themes and ideas can inspire your songs?

D] “Any and everything can inspire me to write music. From the way the wind blows the trees to the sound of silence.”

S] What song that you are working on right now best defines your sound, and why?

D] “I have this song I’m working on called, ‘They Say’ and I’m almost done. This particular song has a rock-country-hip-hop feel to it. It’s somethin’ that’s different. I’m trying to bring difference to the game.”

S] Do you have a message for any UK fans?

D] “Yes!!! I will see y’all soon! I can’t wait to come to the UK to do a show. Oh my god…just the thought alone is crazy.”

S] What can people expect from your live show?

D] “You can expect to get all of me! On stage is where I’m most vulnerable.”

S] What are some of your biggest challenges right now?

D] “Right now my biggest chanlange is patience. I’m so anxious!”

S] What’re your plans as we move to the end of 2014?

D] “My plans as we move through the end of the year into 2015 is to complete my album.”
