This week saw the Sharks headline their first ever UK tour starting in Wrexham and we manage to catch them live in York at Stereo. Here, they are supported by Silvertone, Tomorrow We Radio and Crowns.
The band give York a much needed injection of fierce, raw talent. The show is electric from start to finish and evokes memories of The Clash performing live, with lead singer James Mattock pulling distinct Joe Strummer moves throughout the band’s set. It’s great to see fans tonight singing along to the band’s hits ‘It All relates’ and ‘Sweet Harness’.
With many more dates to come in the UK including a tour with Tribes next month, the band looks set to secure their ever-growing UK fanbase and recruit a few new ones on the way.
