Ash will go down in history as one of the UK’s best, and most enduring rock bands, and undeniably underrated from a global perspective. Here, as the band revisits their smashing ‘1977’ album, hits like ‘Girl From Mars’, ‘Oh Yeah’ and ‘Kung Fu’ sound as catchy as ever, and its easy to see the band’s influence on world-beaters like Wolf Alice and Dinosaur Pile-Up.
The band seems to be having a lot of fun revisiting these old vital gems in a stripped-back (but cool-looking) digital setting, and we can only hope that Ash continues to add to their legacy over the next ten years by smashing it live in front of real people all over the globe once again.
