Live at Leeds In The City 17th edition takes place next week folks, this is not a drill, those tickets need to be bought NOW!!

Live at Leeds In The City will host over one-hundred artists across the West Yorkshire city’s famed independent venues for an essential showcase of the very best in new music.

Leading the final announcement is New York soft rock sibling quartet Infinity Song, alternative indie multi-instrumentalist Marika Hackman, and Oxford-born songwriter Willie J Healy, amongst a host of the country’s most anticipated upcoming artists completing the final lineup for this year’s festival.

They join previously announced avant-garde Manchester rockers Everything Everything, contemporary indie troupe The K’s, singer-songwriter and rising-star Alfie Templemann, rap and grime MC Casisdead, mighty Wrexhamites The Royston Club, Brighton Indie Pop Lime Garden and our own homegrown Mercury Prize winning outfit English Teacher.

Live at Leeds In The City will also mark the first hometown show for English Teacher since winning the Mercury Prize win for their critically acclaimed debut record ‘This Could Be Texas’. The band opened last year’s festival, performing at The Wardrobe to a capacity audience. Having flown the flag for the vibrant selection of artists Leeds has to offer, English Teacher return to their roots this autumn to top the bill at the award winning festival.

Committed to supporting artists in Leeds, Live at Leeds has added a number of the city’s most exciting new artists to this year’s line-up with the likes of Jellyskin, Spielmann, Claudia Fenoglio, Wolforna, Kiosk and many more.

Live at Leeds In The City will take place across a host of the city’s venues including Leeds Beckett SU, LUU Stylus, The Brudenell Social Club, The Wardrobe, Belgrave Music Hall, Headrow House, Hyde Park Book Club, Oporto, The Key Club, Northern Guitars, Doghouse, Santiago Bar and more, with the multi-venue format offering the audience a unique opportunity to curate their own perfect day of live music.
