A Yorkshire music and arts festival has found a new home for this year’s event.
The Beacons Festival, which was cancelled last year due to flooding, takes place on the grounds of Funkirk Estate near Skipton in the North Riding. Organisers comment, “The new location is even more picturesque than the previous site and we feel it can only enhance people’s experience of what will be a truly amazing festival.”
Among the acts confirmed for Beacons 2012 so far are Roots Manuva, Ghostpoet and Willy Mason. The three-day festival runs from August 17 to August 19, and tickets are now available to book on its website.
