Ahead of WWE’s Night of Champions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, WWE’s Mustafa Ali opens up about his favourite artist J.Cole, and why the artist’s music means so much to him.
Soundsphere asked Mustafa Ali if there are any songs or artists he enjoys to help him stay positive or get into state before an important match. He then told us all about his appreciation of J.Cole.
He said, “Nothing specific to say about staying positive, I’m a positive guy so I’m filled with motivation! But I love listening to lyrics that have this genius, more than-meets-the-words type of delivery. The first guy that comes to mind is J.Cole. I’m a huge J.Cole fan.
WWE superstar Mustafa Ali is a huge J.Cole fan.
“J.Cole is my go-to. I love him, I love everything he puts out. Specifically, my favourite song is Middle Child. It’s just so artistic, there’s so much meaning behind it, and other WWE superstars have debated it, arguing this and that about what he’s trying to convey. I love music that’s more than just music when it has something behind it. So yeah, Cole world, baby!”
