Goldfrapp have announced their sixth LP titled ‘Tales of Us’ to be released September 9, 2013.
Frontwoman, Alison Goldfrapp tweeted in coincidence with the news saying “New album, new tour, new beginnings #TalesOfUs”.
‘Tales Of Us’ will be available on CD, vinyl, digital and a special limited edition boxset that will contain an exclusive disc of bonus material and a hardback book compiled by Goldfrapp.
In the run-up to the release, Goldfrapp will be making special performances at the Manchester International Festival on July 17 and 18, playing ‘Tales of Us’ for the first time and accompanied by the Royal Northern College of Music string orchestra. Headlining shows at Somerset House on July 20 and a headline at Lovebox on July 21 complete their scheduled summer appearances.
A number of European dates in Autumn will follow ending with a show at London’s Hammersmith Apollo:
