The quartet’s fourth album, ‘Amaryllis’, is available from March 26 and sees Rob Cavallo sustain responsibility for production following 2008’s ‘The Sound Of Madness’.

Brent Smith, the band’s vocalist, says the upcoming LP is the ‘centrepiece’ of what makes the band. “I’ve always seen Shinedown as its own entity – this living thing that’s been growing and developing and evolving over the past 10 years. ‘Amaryllis’… reflects on everything we’ve done and where we’re heading.

Smith adds he is looking forward to the album’s reception from the record-buying public: “It’s a message of empowerment, perseverance, and inspiration that I think speaks to fans that have been with us since the beginning, as well as those who are just learning about who we are and what we’re about. I can’t wait for the world to hear it.”

The band, who toured the UK with SOiL in 2009, return to British shores next month with the following schedule:

FEBRUARY

8 – London, Roundhouse

9 – Nottingham, Rock City

10 – Newcastle, O2 Academy
