Today, Tether. have released latest single ‘Meet Me Where The Sun Touches The Sea’.
Commenting on the single, front man Justin Jackson says:
“We all project what we want people to think of us and we all, in a way, change ourselves to fit in with the norm. Trying to live up to the standards of other people will always set you off from your own path. Having the foresight to see you are the controller of your destiny doesn’t come easy, especially when you allow people, even people close to you, to dictate that. Everybody has a person/people that would prefer them to be a certain way—the object is to free yourself of those ideas and opinions and be true to yourself. It will always be harder to do this with people you love, but those are the people that should know and respect who you are without changing you.”
The track is the latest to be taken from their forthcoming debut EP Mirror Work, which the band have today also revealed the artwork and tracklist for. Recorded and mixed by long-term producer MyKey Kew at Rogue Recording Studios in London, the record is set for release on 21st June 2024.
