Slow Pulp have once again showed what they’re made of, this time in the form of a cover of Lifehouse’s ‘Hanging By A Moment’.
The band have put their own twist on the classic song, stripping it down to a lo-fi-esque sound, and bringing to light a version that the music industry didn’t know it needed. ‘Hanging By A Moment’ is a song that each member of Slow Pulp appreciates, which just makes their cover all-the-more special.
“I feel like this song kind of lives somewhere in between alt rock and pop music, which is something we’re all pretty drawn to as a group. We wanted to try to provide a new take on the song, while also highlighting how cool the original song is,” comments Henry Stoehr (guitar).
Towards the end of April, Slow Pulp will be heading on tour with Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service for their US tour dates. June will see Slow Pulp continuing their live music, through a summer EU tour, beginning in Barcelona, and following through to the UK.
