The track is the first single in support of their upcoming album ‘New Phase’
In a Soundsphere Magazine exclusive, and rather fittingly given it’s Beltane (May fire festival) today, York based post-punk band Percy premiere a brand new, self-made video for their single ‘Sink Estate Satanic Rites.’
In a statement about the video, the band described it as “a fantasy story.”
“It’s an over fertile imagination escaping the ordinary of some 1970s council estate towers”, they said, touting it to feature “Misguided adventures in the occult, and dreaming of the sexual lust depicted in old Hammer House of Horror Movies.”
The single is the first in support of the quartet’s upcoming album ‘New Phase’, set for a wide release on May 24th. It will be the band’s first in 7 years.
So what are you waiting for? give it a watch!
Percy’s new album ‘New Phase’ will release on May 24th via Ten Foot Records. However, you can pre-order the album for an early release here: New Phase | Percy (bandcamp.com)
