MTV’s “Headbangers Ball” legend, Vanessa Warwick, launches a brand new Music TV Channel ‘Trust in Rock’. The original and first lady of rock and metal is back on our screens where she belongs due to huge demand from fans and bands worldwide.
This is MTV’s “Headbangers Ball” 2.0 re-booted on steroids as we take headbanging and its balls to the global rock community. Celebrating the best bits and metal memories from MTV’s hey days and mashing them up with brand new content for the digital generation, the channel will blast out the latest news, reviews, in depth interviews and competitions.
Filmed on location at the iconic rock n’ roll hotel home of Iron Maiden, the Karma Sanctum Hotel in the heart of London’s Soho, the biggest rock stars of them all will be checking into chat to Vanessa about their latest drops.
The first series to be broadcast on the Trust in Rock channel is “RockDrop” – an up to the minute, non stop rock assault with interviews, competitions, news and reviews and of course the latest drops in the global rock music scene. RockDrop’s first guest is Alice in Chains legend, Jerry Cantrell (premiering Wednesday 13th November at 6.00pm), plus a must win competition from Thin Lizzy icon, Scott Gorham with many more stars dropping to chat.
Vanessa Warwick is one of the most recognised rock TV presenters in music television history. She was at the helm of cult global MTV series “Headbangers Ball” which broadcast across Europe on all MTV platforms throughout the 90’s, and where she interviewed the world stage’s biggest music acts from Ozzy Osbourne to Iron Maiden, from Pantera to Metallica and beyond. Known for her carefully curated interview style which Headbangers fans still talk about today, her TV CV proves she is just as relevant as ever for that.

‘I’m so thrilled to be back on screens with my own Youtube channel “Trust In Rock” where I can meet up with old friends and also make new ones, and talk in-depth about rock and metal – acting as a conduit to bring the artists closer to the fan community. I am so grateful to have the Karma Sanctum Hotel – courtesy of the wonderful Mark Fuller – as my Trust in Rock HQ and I’ll be re-igniting the glory days of MTV with my special guests and original content which will also include adventures & memories from my rockin’ world.
With merchandise, brand, competitions and sponsorships, the possibilities are endless. We will also be aiming to create ticketed events with fans attending some of our recordings.
Vanessa’s channel will surely become a go-to destination for bands when in London.
The series will be produced by Vanessa’s long-time friend and ex-MTV Producer Sara Harding, the UK’s leading music TV Producer, having worked with MTV, Kerrang!, Scuzz TV, Sky Arts, Channel 4, AXS TV and 4Music.
