Movements have finally released their latest album RUCKUS! Alongside the album release, the band have shared a video for ‘I Hope You Choke!’
‘I Hope You Choke!’ captures the energy of the album perfectly. With a combination of spoken and sung lyrics along with a frantic guitar riff, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see ‘I Hope You Choke!’ become a fan favourite.
Ruckus! is produced by long-time collaborator Will Yip (Circa Survive and Code Orange). The album took shape across three trips to Yip’s Studio 4 in Pennsylvania. Mostly sticking to a sound fans will be familiar with, the band didn’t shy away to push their creative limits in areas adding in more pop hooks and punk sounds.
Vocalist Patrick Miranda commented on the album saying “I truly don’t believe that it could have been a more streamlined process and I don’t think we’ve ever written music that’s as good as what we put together for this record”.
Movements will come to Europe later year with a number of dates scheduled for the UK. The band hit the UK in November for a run of seven dates across the country.
