Yellowcard have unveiled a music video to accompany single track ‘For You, And Your Denial’ ahead of their UK dates with All Time Low which kick off next week and the release of long-anticipated new album ‘When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes’ which will be out in the UK on March 21.
“We really have to thank all of our fans for bringing this song to life,” said the band in a combined statement. “When we put it out we just wanted to give you all something from the new record to get you excited. We never imagined that it would get this far. Please start spreading the word and thank you all so much for the support!”
The video was directed by Chris Marrs Pilliero who recently won a VMA Award for directing The Black Keys’ ‘Tighten Up’ and also directed new videos for The Ready Set and Ke$ha among many others.
With over three million of their previous records sold, Ryan Key (vocals/guitar) and original members Sean Mackin (violin) and Longineu(“LP”) Parsons (drums) continuing with Ryan Mendez (guitar) will be joined by long-time friend of the band Sean O’Donnell (bass), whose addition has been described as a “natural fit” for the current mindset and progression of the group. ‘When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes’ was produced by Neal Avron, the “sixth member of the band” who has produced three of their previous albums including their breakthrough ‘Ocean Avenue’.
