Biffy Clyro can now confirm that City and Colour – the alias of the Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green – will provide the support on their upcoming UK and Ireland arena tour which commences in March. The tour will follow the release of Biffy Clyro’s double-album ‘Opposites’ which is out on January 28 on 14th Floor Records. The album will be previewed by the January 14 release of the single ‘Black Chandelier’.
City and Colour recently completed an extensive world tour in support of his third album ‘Little Hell’ which included two sold-out headline shows at London’s legendary Royal Albert Hall. ‘Little Hell’ debuted at #1 in Canada and was certified Platinum, making it the third City and Colour album to reach that status following ‘Sometimes’ (2005) and ‘Bring Me Your Love’ (2008). City and Colour also earned Juno Awards for Alternative Album of the Year (2007) and Songwriter of the Year (2009).
Green was recently in the studio recording the follow up to ‘Little Hell’ which is due out next year. For more information on City and Colour, please visit the official site or Facebook.

A deluxe version of ‘Opposites’ adds a DVD which contains a feature-length documentary which examines the making of the album. Fans who pre-order the album will receive a taster of what’s to come when they receive ‘Stingin’ Belle’ as an instant gratification track. The accompanying video for the track is now online.
