Anathema’s ninth studio album is set for an end-of-October release.
‘Falling Deeper’, recorded in their native Liverpool, is described by the band as a companion piece to 2008’s ‘Hindsight’. The band’s lead guitarist Daniel Cavanagh, who produced the LP, describes it as: “a nod to our past and a look to our future all at the same time, with a sound that is designed to transport you to the heart of the present moment.”
The sestet will headline a Kscope live event at the Union Chapel in London on September 30. Other acts performing are The Pineapple Thieves, Engineers and No Sound.
‘Falling Deeper’ by Anathema is released on October 24 through Kscope.
