This spring marks the launch of VØID, a new series of live endeavours taking place in the iconic setting of Fabric London’s live room. Across three nights spanning three months, reputable bands are removed from traditional rock venues and placed into this different context for audiences to experience the full force and depth of their music through the intensity of the thumping nightclub PA.
For each individual night, sonically astute bands and artists from different realms have been invited to celebrate the deep connections of their distinctive sounds within this legendary space. In May, the ever evolving and widely praised Norwegian outfit ULVER shall lead the first offering, with electronic artist VATICAN SHADOW joining them on the bill. In June VØID presents the warped sounds of the legendary VENETIAN SNARES (pictured) and a special collaboration of BIG LAD vs SLY & THE FAMILY DRONE. In July, the final episode of this chapter sees the seminal heavy industrial sounds of GODFLESH take to the room, along with support from experimental noise-monger CUT HANDS. With subs beneath your feet and a refreshing new aspect in mind, these shows will be a chance to relish in the sound of these acts within this immersive nightclub setting.
