The Boy from the South takes care of your post-summer depression with a new banger; Man Down.
After Amazing-Man hitting 50000 streams its first 50 days out, the project got their first heavy radio spins (NPR, BBC, KCRW) and notice from the industry, with the legend Andrew Oldham (the Rolling Stones) voicing the teaser of Amazing-Man’s music video. They’re not stopping at all. In fact they’re going even faster, with release parties organized in London, Mexico City, Barcelona and upcoming gigs in Mexico City , Bogota, Chile and Sao Paulo. Man Down is due to come out September 22 , perfect timing if anyone still feels nostalgic about summer and in the middle of a LATAM tour.
The video’s set to be shot in Mexico City during September in one of the biggest wrestling arenas in town, and due to come a few weeks after the song’s release.
Expect an even more dancy track, a bass line that will follow you everywhere, even more than the lead melody itself and as always just “in-your-face-good-vibes” to help you cope with life, routine, commuting, hangovers, everyday struggles!! Recorded with Brett Shaw (FOALS, Florence+Machine) in Peckham, from South London to the World.
The project is going up and this song is a statement, a sound-statement, an attitude statement and just a big bang on the door of the music industry. But the best thing is, there’s loads more to come!
