A mecha-themed shooter video game produced by two prominent software companies is set to launch next year.
‘Shoot Many Robots’, showcased at a gaming conference in Seattle in August, is a collaboration between Ubisoft, the game’s publisher, and Demiurge Studios, who developed it. A spokesperson for Ubisoft said the joint project was exciting for the company.
The game follows a character, P Walter Tugnut, on a mission to battle against a factory of killer robots. Various gameplay modes are provided to offer linear and survival-based challenges.
‘Shoot Many Robots’ (PEGI certificate 16 pending) is released for the PlayStation network, Xbox Live and Windows PC in 2012. More information about the game is available on its website.
