Alternative-pop-rockers Litvar check in with Soundsphere ahead of their UK tour!
S] Hey guys, how are you doing today?
Violet: We’re doing great! Our album release is coming up soon and we’re so excited!
S] Is there anything you are looking forward to when it comes to being here in the UK?
Rex: Seeing my family up there is going to be great, I’ve been visiting since I was young because it’s where my father was born. it’s very nostalgic!
S] ‘Oh My God’ is such an awesome reflective tune – can you talk me through what that one means on a personal level?
Rex: Oh My God is very anxious and ticklish lyrically. I wrote the words when I was in what I think is my most self destructive period. It’s a very “we should never drink or do drugs again” kind of song!
S] How are the influences and ideas different to say ‘Hurts To Heal’? A different type of reflection, perhaps?
Joe: Hurts To Heal was a very different track for sure, it stemmed out of sessions with our good friend, rapper Joey Soprano. While Hurts To Heal is more of Litvar working as a studio project, Oh My God is us working as a band, capturing more of how we sound live.
S] Do you have a message for followers in the UK?
Joe: It’s been a long time coming, we’ve wanted to play in the UK since we started releasing music, it’s unbelievable that it’s finally happening.
S] Is there anything else you’d like to add, or plug that I’ve missed?
Rex: Make sure to stream our album, Eloquently Aimless on September 1st!
S] Thanks so much for your time!!
Violet: Thank you for yours! This has been really fun and it’s truly an honour for us to be interviewed by anyone!
Litvar have also announced their first UK run with gigs in Brighton (23rd August), Birmingham (24th August) and London (26th August). This will be shortly followed by the release of their sophomore album, Eloquently Aimless, due out 1st September 2023.
