“Griffin and I always spoke about doing something on our own. We are both massive rap fans even though we are predominantly known for rock,” Bookie explains. “Rap and hip-hop are in our blood, man… Gotta bring this rock shit to the hood sometimes. It’s not always Chad Kroeger doing up rockstar; sometimes it’s grit, blood and a massive fuck you.”
Vended vocalist Griffin Taylor adds, “This single is about what to get when you cross a man with nothing to lose and a man with nothing to gain. This is pure, unadulterated human instinct and a punch in the gullet to anyone trying to test what they’re made of.”
