Merthyr Tydfil trio Florence Black have released a video to go alongside their new single ‘Start Again’ which released last Friday. Florence Black are looking forward to a big summer with some huge festival dates across Europe including Hellfest, Resurrection and Sweden Rock Festival.
‘Start Again’ is a hard rocking song that solidifies their status as one of the most exciting rock bands on the planet. With a heavy blues groove, the song packs a punch that will excite fans ahead of the release of their new album Weight Of The World.
Tristan Thomas, frontman of the band spoke on the single saying “the song is written about the emotion of starting again, being stripped back to your very bones and building again from the ground up, trying to retain the good whilst also admitting you’re letting go of both the good and bad from what’s come before’. Before adding “the artwork represents ambiguity as to whether the hand (still showing slithers of human skin underneath) is the person helping you to start again, or is a metaphor for being the one to help yourself”.
In the last year Florence Black have toured with Kris Barras Band, Ugly Kid Joe and Steel Panther. Now with some headline dates of their own and some huge festival dates, the band are truly making 2023 their own.
