Who said festival season ends in September? Manchester has been taken by The Scruff Of The Neck and will power on till Year’s End !!

 

Year’s End Festival, presented by Manchester record label and promoters Scruff of the Neck, launches on the 9 December 2023 – a day-night festival taking over Oxford Rd Corridor for one day only, with over 46 artists and bands performing.

Scruff of the Neck Founder Mark Lippmann explains the unique music industry community concept: “Year’s End Festival will see up to 2,000 of us across 7 stages with one aim: to end the year with one big blowout and chance to spend quality
time together whilst enjoying our artists before the music industry Christmas break.”

The festival will take place across Manchester music institutions, pubs and clubs – Deaf Institute, Zombie Shack, Thirsty Scholar, Bread Shed and Canvas – in partnership with Marshall, BBC Introducing, 42nd Street and Signature Brew.

As Manchester’s music scene goes from strength to strength, Scruff of the Neck are marking their stamp by moulding and representing some of the UK’s finest indie artists. The launch of Year’s End Festival is their effort to bring together music lovers and industry heads for the love of music, and to soak up the sounds of cult classics and future favourite bands and artists.

The genre-spanning line-up encompasses the best talent across indie, rock, nu-punk; including headliners indie legends, The View, one of indie’s brightest prospects – BLOXX, Manchester’s very own – The Covasettes, modern rock band – Glass Caves.

Alongside explosive live act – October Drift, the return of LaLa Hayden (Laura from Anteros), Funk/Dance Diva – Zela  and including Bayboards, Beam Noir, Isla Rico, Luna Blue, Mollie Coddled, Pacifica, Ten Hands High, Viia, All The Young, LALA Hayden, Luna Bay, Shambolics, The Boy From The South, Uno Mas, Michael Blackwell, ARXX, Aerial Salad, Ben Walker, BEX, Joshua Epithet, Manilla Times, Pixey, San  Quentin, Shelter Boy, and Uno Mas. This is a festival party to start Christmas in style.

Tickets started at £15 for early birds – but they have all gone now, general release is still only £20. Each ticket grants access to every venue, all day-night, plus a free afterparty wristband.

The festival kicks off at 12pm and will run until 11pm, the afterparty run from 11pm – late with Scruff of the Neck DJs on deck.
