The track is taken from their upcoming EP, ‘The Trawler’, set to release May 31st.
Commenting on the track, front man and lyricist Ash Woolnough says: “‘Trawler’ is about the feeling of disconnection, as I rummage through the tangled net of adult life. Like the fisherman that doesn’t get to eat his catch.”
The single reveals the EP’s main lyrical themes of emotional baggage, vices and restlessness.
The EP’s lead single ‘Chest Pains’ was released earlier this year.
Eat Your Own Head have built a strong live reputation and have been on to play all over the UK.
This includes support slots with acts such as The Physics House Band, St. Pierre Snake Invasion, Sugar Horse, The Guru Guru, Lunch Money Life, My Octopus Mind and many more.
The band have a selection of Uk tour dates lined up for the summer months.
