Industrial metal band, Germany’s very own Rammstein have released their newest self-titled album to critical acclaim, reaching a number 3 spot on the UK album charts. This makes them the first ever German-speaking band to enter the official UK Top 10.
Rammstein ‘untitled’ is the second studio album to be released in the UK via Spinefarm Records following LIEBE IST FÜR ALLE DA, 10 years ago.
Over in Germany, the band is enjoying even more success. The album has sold in excess 271,000 copies during the launch week, the most first week sales for any rock band this century for the country. Meanwhile, the album has reached No.1 in 14 other countries.
This 11-track release is the 10th No.1 record for the band in Germany, and more impressively, currently eight Rammstein records sit in the German Top 100 album charts.
Rammstein will debut material from their new record on their current sold-out European stadium tour from May 27th through to August 23rd. The band will be gracing UK shores on July 6th at Milton Keynes’ stadium.
