The Alternative Artists Awards is the first annual awards event in the UK to celebrate and honour the growing establishment of performance art in the UK.
The awards are designed to give recognition to performance artists, who have mastered their art form or achieved a professional level of artistic expression. In addition, the group wishes to promote up and coming performers and ground-breaking work.
The Alternative Artists Awards is a new and original concept. The event will help promote and raise awareness of performance art and performance artists in the UK.
The prestigious awards to be given out are The Golden Hooves (pictured). 13 of the these will be given to winners at the event.
