Rou Reynolds said :
“After 18 months trapped inside, we cannot wait to be back in our favourite element; playing music beneath an open sky. It’s also fitting, as we have a long history with Download… 2021 being the 15th anniversary of our first time there – which also happened to be our first ever festival show! We’re incredibly proud to be headlining an event that helps to get live music back on its feet in the UK”.The band recently released
Moratorium (Broadcasts From The Interruption), a surprise album of recordings made during the UK’s lockdown, acting as a companion album to 2020’s
Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible, which was released in April 2020 just as the pandemic was tightening its grip. Despite the upheaval and uncertainty,
Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible entered the Official UK Album Chart at
#2, giving the band their
6th UK Top 10 album and their highest ever album chart placing.
Moratorium is available to stream now at https://linktr.ee/entershikariofficial
The Deluxe Edition of Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible, which include a double LP and CD coupled with Moratorium, will be released on Friday July 16th through So Recordings, and are available to pre-order now at https://linktr.ee/entershikariofficial
July 16th also sees the publication of Rou Reynolds’ fourth book for Faber Music entitled A Treatise On Possibility, which acts as a companion guide to the themes of the Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible album.
