The UK’s number one metal band for kids Slay Duggee have released a music video for their latest song ‘Round and Round’, which features brutal vocals from nine year old Princess Beast from father/daughter grindcore project from Connecticut, US, Animal Schoolbus.

This hardcore version of a classic circle-based nursery rhyme will appear on an upcoming Slay Duggee EP later in 2021.

Black Shuck of Slay Duggee commented “It’s been a full year with no moshing. Metal gigs are starting again and kids will need a brutal circle pit anthem. Princess Beast’s voice is the ultimate pit starter.”

Princess Beast of Animal Schoolbus commented “I’ve never been in a circle pit but I reeeally reeeeeally want to. I do martial arts and I bet that would help. Cartwheels and spin hook kicks are my favorite.”

Ricky Bow Wow of Slay Duggee commented  “I think we took moshing and circle pits for granted. Luckily as dogs we have built in pit trainers… our tails. But humans don’t have that luxury and no natural circle pit ability… luckily we’ve just realised this new song that gives step by step instructions… ’ROUND AND ROUND’. Hopefully this is going to get people up and pitting, and ready for our next gigs. Our next plan is to upgrade the Circle Pit to a full blown rock n roll cyclone”

Princess Beast concluded “It was fun to do a song with Slay Duggee. I got to see the video and it’s really cool. The kids at school aren’t going to believe it.”

Backing vocals are provided by Andy Baz of classic Essex hardcore band Raiden.

Slay Duggee will be teaching kids about moshing and circle pits with My First Metal Gig live shows:
