Spitfire Interactive have announced the release date of their upcoming superhero tactics game Capes in a new trailer.
Inspired by XCOM, X-Men and Watchmen, Spitfire Interactive’s Capes sets a ragtag team of superheroes against the ominous Company to liberate King City.
Releasing May 29th, Capes will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox Series X/S; available now on pre-order.
To overcome the challenging campaign, you will assemble a team of heroic protectors, each with their own skills and powers. Each capable of unleashing devastating ultimate abilities.

Taking place 20 years after super villains won, Spitfire say you’ll need to bring your heroes up to scratch with XP levelling and unlocks to beat the dangers ahead, the vile villains and corporate henchmen, to free the city from the clutches of villainy.
Releasing alongside the base title is the King City Edition, featuring extra content including alternate superhero appearances, behind the scenes art and more.
