I’m in shock, mainly due to the bloodstock clock, which is ticking down like Argos’ Christmas stock. Jeez, I can’t seem to stop rhyming today. Before we get into the big beef Wellington that is the new additions of pure awesome to Bloodstock’s line-up, let the word be known that you can still get your weekend tickets here, and not only that, but this is the FINAL CALL for the deposit scheme, people, so for those who are interested, get on it!
Joining Dio’s reincarnation as a metal stage, is Corrosion of Conformity, reunited with Pepper Keenan as its frontman, as well as Boston based brutality brigade Unearth That’s not one to miss.
Speaking of ones not to miss, black metal Vikings Ghost Bath will be blasting their second album out at the epic festival, and if that trio of loud isn’t enough, we’ll also be seeing…drum roll…Evil Scarecrow. We at Soundsphere are hugely buzzed by this band’s presence, and to see them play Bloodstock is like Halloween to a child, for us.
While we’re at it, let’s not neglect the wonderful Sophie Lancaster stage, which will be joined by XII Boar. It’s hotting up again, with big metal epics and underground bands alike.
