Blood Command have released new single ‘The Plague On Both Your Houses’
The Plague on Both Your Houses tells the story of our hatred for fakes and posers and how the green-eyed monster can rear its ugly head and stop at nothing when someone wants to gain social status.
The song is told through Shakespearean metaphor, and references to the playwright’s most famous tragedies enhance the sad tale of lovers burned by the flame of betrayal and jealousy.
The single taps into Blood Command’s heaviest side yet- mixing industrial-esque riffage with classic Norwegian black metal aesthetics.

Whilst previous singles have cradled audiences with their ethereal death pop sound, make no mistake, the album “World Domination” is 20 rapid bursts of every side the band has to offer. Infectious grooves, blast beats, singer Nikki Brumens powerful screams and riot grrrl chanting, techno interludes and that delicate side which lulls you into a false sense of security before ripping into the listener once more.
The record dives into unrequited love, the hatred of the unjust, the power of faith and the darkness of the abyss and never giving up on trying to climb out of it.
“Like various underground religious groups throughout history, Blood Command’s ever growing following, The Awaketeam, is rising around the globe, and we are not stopping until World Domination. So keep your eyes peeled for purple shrouds, three stripes and black and white sneakers.”
“World Domination” is Produced by Yngve Andersen, Engineered and mixed by Simon Jackman and Mastered by Dag Erik Nygaard. Artwork by Robert Høyem. Recorded at the Ranch, Southampton, UK and SpaceKraft, Bergen Norway.
