Fans of Black Stone Cherry have been treated massively today with the announcement of their eighth studio album Screamin’ At The Sky. Along with the album announcement the band have also released a new single ‘Nervous’ and a video to go alongside it.
‘Nervous’ has everything you would expect from a Black Stone Cherry song. Featuring their signature heavy southern-rock riffs and a thunderous chorus, fans couldn’t ask for anymore.
Speaking on the new video the band said “filming the video for ‘Nervous’ was an amazing experience, like being on a movie set! We spent the day in an old paint factory-turned-production studio that had all of these amazing sets for TV and movies”.
Screamin’ At The Sky arrives 29th September via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group. The album was collaboratively written by the band while on tour, however recorded in a unique manner. Recording for album took place in The Plaza Theatre in Glasgow, Kentucky with the band renting the 1020 seat venue to give the album a distinct sound.
Explaining their thoughts on the album the band added “we can guarantee that it’ll move you in one way or another. We had a lot to say lyrically, musically, and sonically. We pushed ourselves to create not only something relevant, but also pushing the envelope to bend the trend.”
