BEX has released  a brand new single ‘Taste Better’ following a line-up of consistent new tracks. Co-written with, and produced by WARGASM’s Sam Matlock, ‘Taste Better’ is on a mission to permeate your brainwaves and become a personal battle cry for any woman who has been talked down to by men.

With a musical lilt inspired by BLACKPINK and containing one of BEX’ catchiest ever riffs, the song was practically written over the course of one day.

BEX says that the single is “about female power, fighting back against the patronising men and condescending tones we know all too well. It’s a fierce track that emphasises female empowerment and rejecting expectations. It marks a moment where I accepted and understood my own power.”

A veritable creative powerhouse, BEX has been setting stages ablaze with her star power on tour with the likes of Mannequin Death Squad, at shows with bands like SNAYX and on the main stage of 2000trees festival this summer.

Following all this, BEX will play her first ever headline show in Omeara, London on the 1st of November.

BEX has released a couple of other singles ‘sunDae’ and ‘Fight’ besides ‘Taste Better’ this year, receiving spins on BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang! Radio, as well as getting lots of love across the internet. Her debut EP SCUM was released at the end of last year. The collection features a clutch of tracks which saw the BEX catapult to recognition, as well as being featured as “Next Wave” on BBC Radio 1’s Future Artists with Jack Saunders.

BEX’ creativity transcends the music itself, seeping into all aspects of her life and art. Her uniquely inspired visions can be seen across diverse and prolific audio, on top of visually creative and appealing outfits. Merch items are designed and stitched by BEX herself to be true one-offs; she’s even given her bass its own patchworked leather jacket!

Music videos are conceived and directed by BEX herself, really giving an insight into her motivations and mind. Her stage design is filled with eerie charity-shop like dolls again giving an insight into her mind and alternative reality she appears to live in.
