Born in Japan but raised in Skipton, North Yorkshire, Manta has been making waves since emerging in 2021, garnering extensive industry support as well as making his debut performance at The Great Escape in Brighton over the summer.
Fresh after the release of his debut EP Confined Spaces earlier this year, today see’s him return to storm the gates with bold new single ‘F.O.M.O’, an infectious combination of high-octane guitar melodies, infectious hooks and alt-pop sensibilities.
Fusing genres such as hip-hop and pop and with influences ranging from Kenny Beats, Dominic Fike and Easy Life, Manta’s lyrics address relatable modern day issues, drawing you into the world he has created within his sound.
Speaking about ‘F.O.M.O’, Manta says: “Ignore Love Island wannabes and Boohoo Men that waste their lives away in the gym, just do what you want to do and don’t care for what other people think or say, be happy in your own skin!’
Manta will releasing his highly anticipated second EP ‘Roundabouts in Therapy’ in Spring 2023.
