In this ‘elseworlds’ style animated movie, Bats is set to team up with Richard Dragon, Ben Turner and Lady Shiva in this 1970s set one off film.
‘Batman: Soul of the Dragon’ stars David Giuntoli as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Mark Dacascos as Richard Dragon, Kelly Hu as Lady Shiva, Michael Jai White as Ben Turner (Bronze Tiger), Josh Keaton as Jeffrey Burr and James Hong as O-Sensei. Continuing the trend of recent DC animated movies, Bruce Timm is producing and Sam Liu is directing. The movie is written by Jeremy Adams, who previously wrote ‘Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge’.
Not much else is yet known about Soul of the Dragon, but it’s due early 2021. We shall no doubt see more at DC Fandome on the 22nd of August, and it’s not impossible that we could see a trailer attached to the upcoming ‘Death in the Family’ interactive animated movie. ‘Death in the Family’ is due in October and can be preordered here.
