Hull-based metal / alternative rock four-piece A.D.H.D. (All Demons Have Disciples) have released their new single “Piece By Piece”, set for release Friday, May 10th via label Forever Underdogs. Produced by Casey Stead, mixed by Aaron Ryan Joshua, and mastered by Brad Boatright (Code Orange, Drain, Press To Meco) the song is an anthem for the apathetic.
Speaking on what inspired the single, guitarist / vocalist Danny Steele states:
“Piece By Piece is a song about the pressures of daily life and the anxiety it can bring with it. A sense of paranoia and the ways in which we try to cope with our daily routines and struggles. With hard-hitting instrumentation and erratic rap vocals, the sense of slowly cracking and falling into certain doom ‘piece by piece’ is apparent from the start.”
The accompanying music video for the single will be dropping the same day, and sees the band members embracing their more fun-loving side. A staged boxing match between Toby and James (with Alex and Danny as their respective coaches) was shot just moments before their last hometown show, with their adoring fans cheering them on as spectators beside the ring.
