“Nothing like a bloodbath to start the day.” The vigilante who desires peace with all his heart and will kill anyone necessary to get it is next up to challege Lui Kang.
The character from The Suicide Squad and the TV show Peacemaker is coming to NetherRealm Studio’s Mortal Kombat 1.
Peacemaker is available to players with the Kombat Pack from the 28th February and then a week later standalone.
The trailer announcing the character – toting John Cena’s voice and likeness – shows off his formidable moveset that will incorporate the character’s expert gunslinging skills, signature helmet abilities and Eagly – his sidekick bald eagle. All complimented by the dance moves and humour you would expect.
Also shown in the trailer is Janet Cage, a DLC Kameo fighter and alternate reality version of Johnny Cage.
Coming with a range of support moves and will also feature as part of the Kombat Pack and standalone purchase.
A free trial period is also due from the 7th to the 10th of March on PS5, Xbox Sries X/S and PC.
It will inclide the full list of characters, as well as all online and single player modes.
Further, the next update alongside the DLC adds Krossplay functionality between the aforementioned platforms.
It will allow players to matchmake in 1 vs. 1 Kasual and Kombat League matches, private matches between friends and a multiplatform leaderboard.
The Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack also includes the Jean-Claude Van Damme character skin for Johnny Cage and five DLC Kameo Fighters, the release dates for whom are yet to be confirmed.
