In our latest Band Spotlight, we chat to the Unnamed 5 about their music and inspiration.
What inspires our music?
Well, when we first started to listen to heavy metal music, bands like Slipknot, Korn, S.O.A.D were the main source of inspiration for us and recently we are very much into the band Jinjer. But, these bands came in much later years of our lives. We grew up listening to the Beatles and bands like Metallica, The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi etc.
What are the biggest challenges you face?
To be honest the biggest challenge for us today is just to survive solely as a musician you know, especially if you are doing independent music, in a totally other language, as English is not our native tongue.
We don’t have any proper platform to do live music and the funny thing is, that there is less audience to listen but more to judge you without even listening to your music.
How do you define success?
Well, we think that if our music can inspire one person, and if he/she can relate himself/herself with it and get motivated to improve then that is our true success.
What are you plans for 2020?
We are currently working on our album ‘Distorted’ hopefully if everything goes well we will enter the recording studio by the next year.
