What inspires the band outside of music, think people, places, games and such?

Mostly conversations we have as friends, with friends, or with other people. Also a couple of comedians, filmmakers, cartoonists and Maybe even some writers? Our drummer Nick sometimes talks about games and we used to go to his place and play games when we were in school.

What are your goals for the future?

Our goals are having fun, making music we like and playing it to as many people possible.

What inspired No Sack, No Way?

Lyrically, mostly situations and conversations we had with people, no one event in particular. I remember I was listening to the song “more real” by The Necessaries about five times every day for two weeks when I wrote this song.

What other bands should we be looking out for?

Bull and Swine Tax are our favourite bands from the UK. Right now, though we really like stuff like Duds and Sleaford Mods too. There’s a lot of great Dutch bands too. The Homesick, Lewsberg, Pip Blom… they’re up there with our international favs like Ought, Nap Eyes and Protomartyr…

What would you say your biggest challenges are as a band?

Well, if you want to play shows outside of your home country and record music and get people to listen to your records and stuff, you’re probably gonna need money, which is a little annoying sometimes. Also we’re not the most focused of people, so sometimes we kind of lose track of what exactly we’re doing!
