Returning for their fourth consecutive year, Teenage Cancer Trust, Bloodstock’s chosen charity, have announced that they will once again have a stall on-site and will be running their ever-popular T-shirt Amnesty.
Festival-goers can bring along their old, unwanted rock and metal shirts to donate, or pick up a vintage bargain at the stall in the main market place. They also have some brand new, box-fresh T-shirts for less than £10 each! Anyone can donate band merchandise they no longer want in order to help the charity’s coffers… a bit like a festival charity shop! They’ll also be selling Teenage Cancer Trust merchandise (wristbands, badges, T-shirts, etc) and holding a daily raffle featuring cool prizes, including an exclusive Phil Lynott print and T-shirt designed by Jamie Hewlett for Pretty Green, a Gibson Les Paul Classic guitar signed by Velvet Revolver and a bag of signed KISS goodies, including a signed drum skin and sticks. Keep an eye out for the Teenage Cancer Trust bucket collectors too – the charity are hoping to smash their fundraising target this year by raising at least £7,500. You can also donate by texting FESTIVAL to 70300, which donates £3 to Teenage Cancer Trust.
