Platinum-selling rock titans P.O.D. announced that they will join U.S. hard-rockers Godsmack as special guests on their upcoming world tour which will take place during March and April of next year, with Drowning Pool set to be the openers.

The tour will kick off  at the Sofia Arena in Bulgaria, and will then call through countries such as Croatia, the Czech Republic and Germany, and will include an exclusive UK date in London.

Speaking about the tour, frontman Sonny Sandoval says, “We are so excited to return back to Europe and celebrate our latest record VERITAS with our friends Godsmack and Drowning Pool. We know this will be the Rock and Roll show to remember.”

Last May, P.O.D. released their 11th studio album VERITAS. The album was a Top 10 hit across the U.S. Billboard Current Hard Rock, Current Rock, and Current Alternative album charts and has already surpassed 40 million streams.

The album got major play times, and was featured on Spotify and Apple, as well as radio stations such as BBC. Radio 1, BBC. Radio 2, and Kerrang! Radio.

As well as releasing VERITAS, P.O.D. have toured with Skindred, who brought the party in a major way to the U.K. They have also played euphoric festival sets at Graspop, Summerside, and Rock For People, as well as sets at American festivals Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Sonic Temple, and Welcome to Rockville. The band has also played in Latin America, making this year a huge one for the Americans.

Now, as they look to the future with VERITAS as their anchor, P.O.D. are extremely excited about their future. “30 years ago, there wasn’t this end goal,” says Sandoval. “It was always about the next record, show, and tour. We’ve always enjoyed where we’re at. We’re still hustling, and we’re still working hard.”

Godsmack recently wrapped up their latest U.S. tour, proving that Both Godsmack, as well as P.O.D. have decades of touring experience under their belts.

This is set to be a tour to remember.
