CANDY are demonstrating their use of melodic and soft sounds joined by electronic, dance-like elements in their newest single ‘Love Like Snow.’
This track alone features multiple artists and producers; MIRSY, Marisa Shriar, mmph and Sae Heum Han.
In addition to the release of the single, a music video for ‘Love Like Snow’ has been dropped. CANDY’S Micheal Quick directed the cinematic video. The track can be found on CANDY’S upcoming album ‘It’s Inside You,’ due for release 7th June.
CANDY will enter a new era with ‘It’s Inside You’ mixing hardcore, metal and electronic music. The album features already highly acclaimed song ‘eXistenZ’ which Stereogum described as “brief but packed with as much chaos as possible.”
Multiple collaborations with a diverse group of artists (Aaron Melnick, Justice Tripp, David Gagliardi and more) bring an enriched and distinctive energy to the album.
CANDY’S music has been depicted by Pitchfork as “The bi-coastal quartet fleshes out classic elements of hardcore and metal with industrial, shoegaze, and noise. Even their love songs feel extreme.”
