Development team Bungie have released the latest trailer for Destiny 2: The Final Shape, the latest DLC for the long-running sci-fi FPS.
It’s time, Guardians. Destiny 2’s latest DLC is just over a month away and this time we’re going straight for The Witness. Check out Bungie’s latest trailer – “Journey into the Traveler.”
With a new area to explore inside the Traveler, The Pale Heart, Bungie say this mysterious world will present as a light-filled paradise. That is until the Darkness creeps into the land, developing as players journey to confront the Witness.
Expect new areas where Guardians will fight back against The Witness and their legions.
Due June 4th, 2024, the story will bring together the Light and the Darkness in this cataclysmic point in the saga.
Having corrupted the Traveler, with plans to enact the Final Shape, Guardians will come together to hold back this pinnacle threat. Helped, of course, by returning fan-favourite Cayde-6, played by Nathan Fillon.
Whilst the Guardians have reinforcements in Cayde-6, you can be sure The Witness will have their own.
Fillon will also be in as the narrator of the story, now his character Hunter recounts their experience in the new, harrowing landscape, beckoning Guardians to gather and take on the blight.
Those who pre-order the expansion will automatically unlock several rewards, including a new Pyramid-themed Exotic ship, an Exotic Ghost and two pre-order emblems.
The Guardians have been preparing for this moment, its time to take the fight directly to the Witness.
