Calva Louise have released a music video for ‘Under The Skin’, and have signed to Mascot Records, quickly making moves into the explosive year that they have planned.
This year, Calva Louise have released their newest song, ‘Under The Skin’, accompanied by a music video that was released only today, but the band still has so many things to come, including numerous festivals and a 10-date co-headline US tour with Vukovi.
Jess Allanic (vocals/guitar/keyboard) states, “The lyrics deal with the obstacles that arise between them as one is looking for freedom and the other is looking to perpetuate their consciousness, but the expectations are not the same for both sides.”
In a sci-fi form, the music video for ‘Under The Skin’ takes the ideas embodied in the lyrics, and puts a visual to them in the most fitting way. Topped off with Allanic’s vocal skills, the combination is a piece of Calva Louise’s best work.
Speaking on signing to Mascot Records, Calva Louise comment, “We are honored to be part of the Mascot family, and with their help, we hope to keep developing a high level of immeasurable value for the distribution and promotion of our music around the world through a unique sound for our next album and for our live shows.”
