Geese have released a third single off their upcoming album 3D Country. The Brooklyn based band have also shared a new video to go with ‘Mysterious Love’.
The energetic new single is a combination of indie and classic rock. Instrumentally ‘Mysterious Love’ is an all-out rocker, with emphatic riffs and intense drums throughout the track. This track is a departure from the sound of their first two singles off 3D Country with them both carrying a softer americana vibe.
Frontman Cameron Winter described the song as “a dozen ‘90s rock cliches mixed into one little over-produced package”. Speaking on the end of the track where there is a repeated strum of guitars, drum hits and feedback he added “when we recorded it, there were about 40 hits, but our label begged us to cut them out. We ended up at around 15 after negotiations.”
The new album arrives June 23rd via Partisan Records/Play It Again Sam. Commenting on the new album drummer Max Bassin said “it feels like going to the circus and instead of having a good time, everyone is trying to kill you.”
In support of the album Geese will be touring the UK later this year with dates across the country.
